There is a big offer of hotels and you can find since a camping zone to the Boutique Spa. About prices, in you would like to stay in a hotel in the center of the town you will pay about 20US to 30US per person.  However if you want to stay way of the main park you are to stay in an FINCA HOTEL something like a farm but this with all the commodities you need, this is also legal and registered as hotel and some of them have a pool inside.

Other common offers to stay in Jericó, is the FAMILIAR CABAÑAS, able for people who has reduce mobility, they also allows you to take your pet with you, and each cabaña is has a parking slot for to vehicles, this is very useful even when you realized that you are at 300mts of the town so you can walk.

Bellow you will see some pictures of this places, beginning with the camping zone, some hotels and finally the Boutique Spa. 

The camping zone is placed in the back yard of this wooden made house where 10 to 13 persons can stay.

This is what we call an Eco-hotel. In the Camping zone is a complete infrastructure installed for 30 persons.

This is a sample of a hotel placed in the main park, you can find double or single rooms, this a double one and the balcony look exactly to the church and the main park.

This is the Living room, if you don´t want to get out to find some food at the restaurant you are able to prepare what you need here in the kitchen, but don´t get confused this is not and hostal, this is a hotel in the highest category if the region and a night for a couple can cost around the 160US.

RAPELLING

    

Description: Descending by the Cascade “Hairstyle” with 100mts of high with a natural water birth just in the top, make you awake all your senses in this descending that can takes you from 30 to 45 minutes.

Take a flight from Puerto Arturo (take off) in Jericho until the road between the town of Tarso and Jericó. This flight is Cauca on Canyon to 1700msnm and lasts 20 minutes.

CAVERNISM

INSIDE THE CAVES

This is a tour of medium difficulty (grade III) , where we left the town of Támesis to internally by a path through cloud forests , the first stop is the Cerro de Cristo Rey , a place of religious pilgrimage. This site is characterized by a unique view of the southwestern region of Antioquia , with a view that includes the municipalities of Santa Barbara , La Pintada, Valparaiso, Gouache , the district of Palermo , among others. Canyon Cartama and Cauca River and part of it is also observed. From there we continued to the head of the village of San Antonio, which is characterized by mixed farming with the conservation of forests and great water wealth ; walk in places of singular beauty like Cave pinera cure and to reach a peasant house where we take a typical lunch . Hence got deep in the woods to go through the San Antonio River organales , which form labyrinths of caves between giant rocks that water has earned with the passage of centuries, where the river has formed its channel through the ground . Finally , we will take the pre-Hispanic trail to descend back to the town of Thames. This is a great tour of the scenic beauty and natural features of the area. There, we can understand the importance of conserving these ecosystems, which are characterized by water producers and tour places of interest within the eco - Thames Garden Knife , a regional reserve of vital importance for its richness in biodiversity.

For years, the Colombian Coffee has been preferred in the whole world for those who know all the confidence that a simple cup of coffee can give as you drink it. TV commercials and a lot of different kind of publicities have tried with success of curse, to sell our coffee, even if they don´t really know the real world behind the images. Colombian coffee must be collected by hand; the topography allows not another way to do.

NATURE WALKS -ANCESTRAL PATHS-

NATURAL WALKS by: Edward Alejandro Jaramillo Álvarez In the town of  Jericó, it is possible to get involved with the marvelous nature that you can find on the ancestral paths that are still used as ecological trials for the locals and visitors. Some of these paths are very hiding in the forest, only few guides can take you to the beginning to the end in a natural walk. These paths have more than a century of history and have been conserved thanks to natural programs for preservation and by walkers that prefer these ways as his favorites for walk. Was used by the indigenes and after for the locals that came in the colonization and republican time. This is the hardest way in the offer you will find here. Inside the forest is a little hard but possible to find wild animals as the screaming monkey is, and others like eagles, armadillo (a small mammal with shell), snakes, kind of birds like the turpial and more.  The trip for this natural path starts at 2040masl and ends at 1700masl. That means that to come back to the town is necessary take a particular transport. The trip endures near the 5 hours of expedition. There is important that the visitor follow all the indication that this program require.
